Phil honed his marketing, talent development, coaching, and cross-cultural communications skills in the emerging markets of Hong Kong, Korea, China, Singapore, Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, and India, where he spent most of his 14-year career with Yahoo!
He cut his entrepreneurial teeth as Vice President Sales for Axlon, a startup toy venture comprised of veteran Atari engineers and marketers. At the expense of well-funded, heavily entrenched competitors, he drove sales to the 12 million dollar level before helping to sell the company to Hasbro.
In 2017 Phil moved to Kalispell Montana and established his own talent development consultancy—Phil Quigley and Associates—creating customized learning solutions that support high-performance cultures. In his career, he’s designed and delivered high impact programs for Zanaco Bank in Zambia, Facebook in Hyderabad, India, and for Zain-- a major middle-eastern telecom—in Baghdad. In the US Phil has implemented successful learning programs for the California Fire Academy, Yahoo! Facebook, Cloudera, Impax Laboratories, Inside View, Risk Management Systems, Keyssa, Proof Research, Bank of America, Macy’s, Intel and On 24.
After college, he spent 5 years in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Major serving as an Intelligence Officer in Southeast Asia. Phil also assists returning veterans to transition from military to civilian life with a series of job search workshops, blogs, and individual coaching sessions.
Phil is an avid movie buff and self-proclaimed trivia expert. And a golfer who shoots in the 70’s. Any colder—he stays home!
