Glacier Symphony presents Classical EQ - Digital Performance
Classical masters Beethoven, Mozart, and Joseph Haydn are featured on the opening concert highlighting the anniversary of Beethoven's 250th birthday. Pianist Rodolfo Leone, winner of the 2017 International Beethoven Piano Competition, Vienna, will partner with the Glacier Symphony Orchestra to play to Piano Concerto No. 3 in c minor. Upper Austrian News has called Leone "a true sound philosopher." Also featuring on the program is a symphony by Haydn, called the "Father of the Symphony", and the overture to one of Mozart's most beloved operas. Bolt Mozart and Haydn were Beethoven's teachers at one time. This will be a unique opportunity to hear classical repertoire as it was often performed - with a small chamber orchestra of musicians. Rounding out the concert is a special treat - Leone's performance of the legendary piano sonatas by Beethoven.
