Savor
For many, the changing of the seasons is bittersweet, with cooler weather and back-to-school routines. Take some time to appreciate fall at ImagineIF Libraries by pickling veggies, taking a deep breath and cozying up for the shorter days. Savor the season.

Cozy Community Quilting
Come to ImagineIF Kalispell and help us make three quilts for the community. Whether you’re a pro or you’ve never quilted before, take a turn at a sewing machine and watch a demo. Savor the feel of the fabrics, the connections with others, and the experience. All quilts will be donated to the Montana Veteran’s Home in Columbia Falls. - Saturday, November 10, 10-5pm

Battle of the Bulge: A Montana Perspective
Join authors John Driscoll and Randall LeCocq to hear about Montana’s involvement in the largest land battle in United States history, WWII’s Battle of the Bulge. At the end you can share your connection to the battle or buy a copy of the book and have it signed. - Oak Room: November 20, 6-8pm

Trivia @ the Brewery
Enjoy trivia night every Monday at the brewery, with trivia questions provided by ImagineIF Libraries. Put your brain to the test! - Kalispell Brewing Company: Mondays, 6-8 p.m.

FOL Book Club
The Friends book group meets the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. All are invited to join the discussion.

Next month’s selection: “No Better Friend: One man, one dog, an extraordinary story of courage and survival in WWII” by Robert Weintraub. Flight technician Frank Williams and Judy, a purebred pointer, met in the most unlikely of places: a World War II internment camp in the Pacific. Judy was a fiercely loyal dog, with a keen sense for who was friend and who was foe, and the pair’s relationship deepened throughout their captivity. - December 12, 5-6pm.
