Tamarack Cannabis is seeking a full time budtender that will also carry side duty tasks as a social media content creator. The ideal candidate for this position understands that they are a budtender first, and marketing side duty tasks (including social media content creation) come secondary to helping customers in the storefront. The ideal candidate for this position is excited about the cannabis industry and wants to be a budtender, but would also like to get their foot in the door into entry level marketing.

Favorable but not required skills
Excellent computer skills: Include proficiency in Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, Adobe, Cloud storage software like Google drive and Sync.
Basic computer network skills, can take direction for IT to troubleshoot and fix connectivity issues.
Experience scheduling, shooting and editing posts and reels for social media, demonstrating the ability to use music and find cadence in fresh content posts.
Cannabis Budtender job duties:
Sales, product education, patient relations.
Enter customers into state and in-house systems.
Maintain an understanding and apply all State Cannabis laws & regulations during sales and tasks.
Follow security protocols.
Accurately sell products and keep them organized within their designated area.
Maintain a clean and organized work space.
Able to work ALL weekends and some holidays (NOT Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, July 4th, Memorial Day or Labor day).
Job is 5 days/week 38-40hr. Hours of work will be somewhere between 9am - 8pm. Schedules are set to be consistent with consecutive days off.
Must be eligible to apply for and receive an employee badge from MT DOR- Cannabis Control Division, including a fingerprint background check.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Social media duties assigned, as needed, by Marketing Director
Job Physical Requirements:
Throughout extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday.
Able to push, pull, or lift 45 lbs. and participate in an active workplace environment.
