Intersection Roadwork on US 93 N in Kalispell
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) has begun roadwork at eight intersections on US Highway 93 (US 93) in Kalispell. Work on these intersections between Conway Drive and West Reserve Drive will include ADA and signal upgrades. The intersection at Hutton Ranch Road and Reserve will also receive these upgrades.
Construction is anticipated to last until mid-June and will be done during the week between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Travelers can expect delays of at least 15 minutes, reduced speeds, and some lane closures. MDT encourages the public to be cautious at all times and leave additional time for travel.
MDT wants everyone to remember the three S’s of work zone safety: speed, space and stress. Slow down in work zones and follow speed limits. Leave enough room around your vehicle. Stay calm and pay attention to the road. Be prepared for delays, so before you leave, download MDT’s mobile app “MDT 511” or visit mdt511.com and check your route. If you're driving and want to check in, pull safely off the road and dial 511. Tune in to local radio stations and watch for variable message signs along the route.
The public is encouraged to contact District Public Relations Specialist Megan Redmond at (406) 396-1978 or Project Manager Jason Livingston at (406) 751-2064 with any questions or comments.
