Description
Parents are a child's first teacher, and the most important. While the folks at Flathead Family Planning may be experts on Sexual and Reproductive Health, we are not experts on your family, but we can still help! Join us on November 15th for an evening of adult conversation about how to talk about the tricky stuff at home. We welcome parents and caregivers to attend this event, where we will discuss how to have the "the talk" at home. We will offer insight on how and when to begin conversations about sex, relationships, body parts, and STD and pregnancy prevention at home. The conversations can be tricky, and we want parents to have the tools they need to be their kid's number one resource and supporter. Research shows that what a parent tells their child about these topics has a great deal of influence on their child's behaviors, please allow us to help YOU, help them!
Please arrive a few minutes early, if possible, to get settled before we begin. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
*Please do not bring children to this event, of any age. This will be a safe place for adults to talk together and have an open and honest discussion that may be hindered by the prying eyes and ears of children or teens.*
