Each year, hundreds of people gather at the Lone Pine State Park Visitor Center to see live raptors, learn about birds, and celebrate the long-term beauty, conservation, and ecological health of Northwest Montana. In recent years, we have averaged over 850 participants! Families and individuals of all ages are invited to engage in activities, and educational booths and enjoy speakers. The indoor morning sessions are for everyone, and periodic afternoon sessions are training for our Hawk Watch volunteer observers in the Jewel Basin.
