About

Wildtorium strives to foster innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills through interactive exhibits and programs to help support our future generations to be thoughtful global citizens

Wildtorium began in 2018 as a nonprofit founded by a group of parents seeking a place to play, learn, and grow alongside our children. Originally known as Glacier Children’s Museum, we launched with mobile exhibits that traveled to local farmers markets, Lone Pine State Park, the Northwest Montana History Museum, and community events like Maker's Fair, Free the Seeds, and Back to School nights. With generous support from the Whitefish Community Foundation, NISE Network, and Achieve Montana, our impact steadily grew. We were honored to receive a sustainability fellowship through Arizona State University, helping to guide our long-term vision. In 2022, we rebranded as Wildtorium—a name that brought fresh energy, expanded our reach beyond early childhood, and allowed us to step into a more vibrant, imaginative identity untethered from the “Glacier” label. After three years of searching, we’re thrilled to have found our first home inside The Bird’s Nest.
