9/25/2024 – Kalispell, Mont. – The Wachholz College Center will be offering two family-friendly
holiday shows to their lineup this winter starting with “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The
Musical” on Thursday, December 5th at 7pm and a cappella group “Voctave: It Feels Like
Christmas” on Wednesday, December 11th at 7pm.
In 1964, the beloved stop-motion animated television classic, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer,
made its network television debut and has been delighting audiences across the country for
over 50 years. "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical” brings this favorite classic to life
offering families a wonderful new way to experience the tradition. Projections, costumes and
characters are faithfully brought to the stage against a backdrop of nostalgic set designs
including a 12-foot-plus-tall Abominable Snow Monster. Producer Jonathan Flom says, “The
familiar story elements from the television special are addressed with a talented cast and
puppeteers who help recreate the magic on stage.”
Formed in 2015 by producer and arranger Jamey Ray, Voctave’s 11-member vocal ensemble
brings incredible harmonies to favorites from the Disney screen to the Broadway stage. This a
cappella sensation has had over 150 million social media views of their videos and has appeared
on countless recordings. Voctave’s holiday spectacular It Feels Like Christmas includes a stocking
full of holiday favorites from their chart-topping album and is sure to be a magical evening of
music for the whole family.
Both shows are suggested for children 5 years or older. Children under 3 do not need a ticket
but are required to sit on the lap of an adult with a ticket. Tickets for both shows are on sale
