Katie Borges, Family Nurse Practitioner
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner Katie started her career as a paramedic in rural Florida in 2001. After 5 years in the prehospital setting she made the transition to nursing and started her nursing career as a pediatric intensive care nurse. In 2011 she earned a master’s degree from the University of California, San Francisco and became a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. In 2018, she completed a post-masters certificate program at the University of Massachusetts, Boston and earned her certification as a family nurse practitioner. Katie also has an interest in alternative health. By 2015 Katie completed 2 Ayurvedic certificate programs and enjoys finding ways to incorporate these principles into her daily practice both personally and professionally. Katie loves finding ways to serve her community. In 2021 she founded Montana Mobile Health, DPC with the hope of meeting the growing health care demands of the Valley and with the passion of creating a healthcare experience that's effective, affordable and engaging!
