Whitefish Skijoring Event
Held annually in the Flathead Valley, the Whitefish Skijoring Event is a high-energy winter festival featuring fast-paced skijoring racing, where horses, riders, and skiers compete at full speed through a professionally designed course.
Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026, the event draws competitors and spectators from across the region for two full days of racing, entertainment, and winter fun. In addition to the competition, attendees enjoy food and drinks, fire pits, vendor areas, and a lively crowd atmosphere that makes the event a must-see winter tradition.
Whitefish Skijoring is proud to host this event on private land with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and community impact, while partnering with local businesses and nonprofits to create an unforgettable Valentine’s Weekend experience in the Flathead Valley.
