Description
Join the Hockaday Museum for an exciting evening of art, music and merriment--a special fundraiser event for the Hockaday Museum of Art at the historic, beautiful Somers Mansion. Attendees will enjoy live music by cellist Lee Zimmerman, a champagne mixer, food and dessert catered by The Chef Guys, open bar with signature cocktails by Whistling Andy's, and exclusive access to the newly restored 1903 historic Somers Mansion and Carriage House, located on the shores of Flathead Lake. We will also be making some special announcements at the event!
The silent art auction from 5:30-7:30 includes a variety of works offered at no reserve, perfect for both the beginning or established collector! Artists include Rob Akey, Earl Biss, Mark Hopkins, Leonard Lopp, Karl Oehrtman, Ace Powell, Robert Spannring, Tom Saubert and more. Many of the works were donated for this fundraiser from the Estate of Michael Berry. Berry was a former Hockaday Museum of Art Board Member and art collector. More information on the artists and artwork will be posted on the event website closer to the event.
Limited tickets are now available for this intimate event. All proceeds directly benefit the Hockaday's mission and commitment to fostering and promoting arts and cultural experiences for the community and celebrating the artistic legacy of Montana and Glacier National Park. The museum is a 501 c 3 non-profit completely funded by donations and grants. Every year we rely on the generosity of our patrons, sponsors and donors to continue serving the community through quality exhibitions, programs, and events.
