Plan, Prevent, Prosper: Workplace Safety
Montana State Fund’s Safety Services Specialist Kirk Smith will hit the road this September to present his free safety workshop Plan, Prevent, Prosper: Workplace Safety. A virtual session will take place at the end of the month.
Topics include:
Positive Safety Steps: Spills, ice, snow, rain, loose mats, rugs, and stepladders are some of the common causes of slips, trips, and falls. In fact, slip, trips and falls account for 15% of all accidental deaths in the United States, second only to motor vehicle crashes. In this session we will cover the causes of these accidents and the steps your organization can take to prevent them.
The Full Report: Two of the most important aspects of an employee safety program are reporting hazards and near misses. In this session we will breakdown the components of these programs and how to create and implement a successful program at your organization.
