Public Works Begins Pavement Marking Operations Public Service Announcement Kalispell, MT - July 7, 2026 - The City of Kalispell Public Works Department's Traffic Signs & Signals Division will begin long line pavement marking operations throughout the city. Crews will be repainting roadway centerlines, lane lines, crosswalks, stop bars, and other pavement markings to improve roadway visibility and enhance public safety. Work will occur at various locations as weather and traffic conditions allow. Please do not drive on freshly painted pavement markings. Please help keep our crews safe by: Slowing down in work areas. Watching for maintenance vehicles and personnel. Giving striping equipment plenty of room to operate. We appreciate your patience as we complete this important maintenance work.
